Environmental Management & Achievements

  • General Waste Management

    1. Promote the digitalization of documents and operational processes, gradually reducing the need for paper forms and document printing to lower paper consumption.
    2. Fully adopt eco-friendly tableware in the employee cafeteria and encourage employees to bring their own cups to reduce the use of single-use items.
    3. Continuously promote waste sorting and recycling concepts, and incorporate relevant content into mandatory training for new employees to strengthen all staff members' awareness and implementation of waste management.
    4. Regularly inspect waste storage and temporary storage areas to ensure that environmental cleanliness, safety, and sanitary conditions comply with relevant regulations.
    5. Conduct unannounced inspections to check for incomplete sorting or improper disposal, and implement immediate improvements.
    6. Under the premise of ensuring operational stability and product quality, continuously reduce waste intensity by 1% annually.

  • Pharmaceutical Waste Management

    1. Waste solvents are stored in a dedicated, locked space managed by designated personnel. The storage area is equipped with fire-linked alarms and explosion-proof facilities to ensure safe storage and use.
    2. Hazardous chemicals and liquid waste are classified and treated in accordance with environmental protection regulations. Appropriate methods are adopted to reduce the hazards of glass, corrosive, flammable, or toxic substances. Arbitrary disposal is strictly prohibited, and incompatible substances are kept separate to avoid mixed storage.
    3. Waste is managed with a strict "no-contact-with-the-ground" policy throughout the entire process, supplemented by leak-proof containers and drums to prevent liquid leakage from polluting the ground or environment.
  • Energy Conservation And Carbon Reduction

    1. Systematically evaluate emission risks and carbon reduction potential for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 through the continuous annual implementation of greenhouse gas inventories.

    2. Continue optimizing high- and low-voltage power supply equipment within the facilities and integrate load-side power consumption improvement measures to enhance overall energy use efficiency.

    3. Gradually install independent electricity meters during the construction of new plants and the replacement of equipment in existing facilities, integrating them into the central control room system for real-time electricity monitoring and management.

    4. With 2025 as the base year, progressively strengthen operational energy management and use efficiency, aiming to reduce the greenhouse gas emission intensity of Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 5% by 2030 compared to the base year.

  • Wastewater Management

    1. Irregularly replace and update aging pipelines to reduce the risk of water leakage and enhance water supply stability.

    2. Regularly replace filter materials and conduct water quality tests for drinking water equipment to ensure the safety and quality of water used by employees.

    3. Perform regular maintenance, tank cleaning, and disinfection for manufacturing and water-using equipment to improve equipment efficiency and reduce water resource loss.

    4. Promote information related to water conservation, electricity saving, and resource appreciation from time to time via bulletin board postings and emails to strengthen employees' daily energy-saving awareness.

    5. Provide water and resource management education and training for new and current employees to establish correct water usage concepts and implement water-saving behaviors in daily operations.

    6. Under the premise of ensuring operational stability and product quality, continuously reduce water intensity by 1% annually.
